  •  Rates
    • Deposit: I require a $60 deposit to book at appointment. This deposit is subtracted from the final cost of the tattoo.
    • Drawing Fee: I require a $75 fee to create your custom design. This includes two revisions. Currently I’m only accepting custom commissions for larger and more detailed designs. I love small tattoos and the artists that specialize in them, but I’m focusing on filling more space per piece. Half sleeves, full sleeves, filling a thigh or hip, etc.
    • Tattooing
      • As of 8/23/19, my rates have increased.
      • My rates are calculated per hour or past 5 hours you can pay for the day, whichever works to your benefit. My intent here is to incentivize my clients to do larger or more detailed pieces and take advantage of doing longer sessions.
      • $120/hour
      • $600/day (for up to 8 hours)
      • Payment Methods
        • Cash is preferred and you will receive a $20 discount off the final cost of your tattoo if you pay in cash.
        • Credit & Debit are also accepted.
    • Touch Ups: Touch ups are completely free! If after a month, you notice the tattoo didn’t heal to your liking, reach out and I’ll fix it in a jiffy. Once you are past a year from the last appointment of the tattoo in question, any touch ups are no longer free and continued work will be completed at the hourly or day rates.
    • Cancellation Policy
      • You may cancel/reschedule your tattoo up to 48 hours prior to your appointment. If you cancel/reschedule thereafter, or no-show the day of, your deposit is forfeit.
      • To reschedule, please see your original booking confirmation email, which will have a link to view and reschedule your appointment.
      • You may not reschedule more than 2 times. If you do so, the appointment will be cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited. Depending on the nature of the design, the tattoo may be made available to the public.
  • Location
    • 5505 SE Woodstock Blvd. Portland, OR 97206
    • I tattoo at an appointment only studio, Forbidden Body Art, which is a rad two story house. The vibe is great, and you’ll want to come back!
    • Parking is available on Woodstock or 54th between Woodstock and Knight.
  • Instructions Prior to your appointment
    • Please arrive rested, clean, fed, and hydrated. Bringing snacks and a reusable water bottle is a good idea, especially if we’re doing a long session. There’s a plaid pantry across the street and a Whole Foods down the street, if you’d like to pick up food on your way to the studio.
    • There’s no need to arrive early. Though, if you are going to be more than 15 minutes late, please reach out and let me know. At 20 minutes past our appointment, the appointment is considered a no-show, the deposit is forfeited, and I will no longer be at the studio.
    • Please wear (or bring) clothes that allow unobstructed access to the tattoo area. For example, if you’re getting an upper arm tattoo, please don’t wear a garment with sleeves.
    • I have a television in my studio space that I stream Netflix, Hulu, or Youtube on. However, if you’d like to bring a book or earbuds to find your center inwards, please feel free to do so.
  • Tattoo Aftercare
    • Saniderm
      • If you prefer Saniderm, this can be applied at no additional cost.
      • If you have allergic reactions or sensitivity to medical adhesives, you should avoid this option.
      • Saniderm is a transparent bandage that will be worn for 4-7 days.
      • The benefit to this aftercare is your tattoo is protected from the elements for the first week of healing. Once you remove the bandage (a warm shower and pulling at the edges does the trick) you can use a non-scented lotion without the use of a healing ointment.
      • The downside to this aftercare is your tattoo is visually obstructed, so showing off and enjoying your recent body art isn’t as possible until the bandage is removed later in the week. This is just something worth keeping in mind when choosing which aftercare option you’d prefer.
    • Traditional Bandage
      • With this aftercare option you’ll leave your tattoo appointment with a bandage stays on for 2-24 hours. You’ll remove the bandage and rinse the tattoo with clean hands and warm water and dab with a clean paper towel, then let it dry for an hour.
      • Sleep with freshly cleaned bedding and clothing.
      • In the morning wash your hands and use the excess water to wipe the area, dab with a paper towel, and put a small amount of Aquaphor (or other non scented healing ointment) on it, just enough so there’s a shine but not any amount of thickness if that makes sense, do the same thing before bed and you’re fine.
      • After 4-5 days, once any peeling is done, you can switch to a non scented lotion.
      • Avoid all animal contact with your tattoo area. This is the most common form of infection, so please keep your tattoo from touching your house pets or areas that your house pets lay/play on.
    • No baths/pools/lakes/oceans. You may shower as normal, just avoid scrubbing your tattoo with your shower products.
    • Avoid antibacterial soaps your tattooed area, as well as scented/fragrance products.
    • Your tattoo completely healed at 4 weeks.
